Captive Goblet Ring made from a solid piece of Purple Heart, the large ring was separated from the goblets then the goblets shaped and captive rings formed around the stems. This item could not be made using conventional woodturning techniques. I had to devise custom made tools, jigs and novel ways to manipulate and cut the workpiece.
